GÜL Card reaches 2,800 businesses; wholesale section expands

Istanbul, press release — GÜL Card, GÜL GROSS MARKET’s programme offering businesses wholesale prices and invoiced shopping, has reached 2,800 members. Wholesale, which began in 2005 with a small cash & carry area at the back of our store, now accounts for around 45 per cent of turnover.

• Restaurants: 41 per cent
• Cafés and patisseries: 22 per cent
• Grocers and corner shops: 19 per cent
• Hotels, offices and institutions: 18 per cent

What’s new in the wholesale section

• 1,200 new case products: professional kitchen supplies, bulk cleaning products and café equipment.
• Phone ordering line: GÜL Card holders can order a day ahead and collect ready cases at the wholesale pick-up point.
• Delivery: scheduled delivery with our own vans to businesses within 25 km of our store.
