About us

GÜL GROSS MARKET opened in 1987 as a small greengrocer at its current address. Today our single 12,000 m² store, with more than 340 employees, serves families at retail and restaurants, cafés and grocers at wholesale. We have no branches; everyone works under the same roof and knows each other. Most of our department leads started at the till or on the shop floor, and our master-apprentice programme offers a clear development path for every role.

Role summary

Our store has 28 retail and 6 wholesale checkout lanes. You will welcome customers at the till, take payments quickly and accurately and support invoiced purchases by GÜL Card businesses. Flexible shifts of 20–24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Taking payments quickly and accurately
  • Applying campaign and GÜL Card discounts
  • Till opening, closing and end-of-day reconciliation
  • Keeping the checkout area tidy and clean

What we are looking for

  • At least a high school graduate or a student
  • Available for evening and weekend shifts
  • Friendly with strong communication skills
  • Checkout experience preferred (not required)
