About us

GÜL GROSS MARKET opened in 1987 as a small greengrocer at its current address. Today our single 12,000 m² store, with more than 340 employees, serves families at retail and restaurants, cafés and grocers at wholesale. We have no branches; everyone works under the same roof and knows each other. Most of our department leads started at the till or on the shop floor, and our master-apprentice programme offers a clear development path for every role.

Role summary

Our produce department carries the legacy of our first shop, opened in 1987. You will lead a 12-person team, plan daily orders with purchasing and check freshness every hour.

Responsibilities

  • Planning daily orders and market purchases
  • Counter display and freshness checks
  • Waste analysis and coordinating food bank donations
  • Team shift planning and training

What we are looking for

  • At least 3 years in a produce or fresh food department
  • Team leadership experience
  • Able to start early in the morning
  • Basic computer skills
